Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Standby Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Midland, MI. This role requires living in a company-provided apartment and being available for after-hours emergency calls on a rotating basis.

The candidate should have maintenance experience, HVAC familiarity, and EPA certification (or obtain within 120 days). Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep of our apartment community.

Competenze

• EPA certification required (within 120 days of start via company-paid training).
• HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• CPO certification and pool maintenance skills preferred.

Mansioni

• Maintain the overall day-to-day operations of the apartment community.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and complete work orders per company standards.
• Perform plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, sink replacements, faucet installations, and disposals.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, water heaters, boilers, and related components.
• Handle electrical repairs (switches, outlets, fixtures).
• Perform carpentry tasks including doors, jambs, drywall, trim and caulking.
• Repair tile and tub surrounds; manage inventory of parts.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis.
