Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Standby Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. The role requires residing in a company-provided apartment and being available to respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating basis.

You will perform day-to-day maintenance across the property, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs, while upholding safety standards and company policies. HVAC, EPA certification, and multi-family experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-family property maintenance preferred.
• EPA certification required (or obtained within 120 days of start date via company paid training).
• HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• CPO Certification and pool maintenance skills preferred.
• Ability to shovel snow and spread salt during winter season.
• Maintain professional appearance and communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the apartment community on a day-to-day basis.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders per quality standards.
• Perform plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, shut-offs, sink replacements, and faucet installations.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, water heaters, boilers, and appliances.
• Deliver carpentry work and perform electrical repairs.
