Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons in Midlothian, VA, is seeking a Standby Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You must live in a company-provided apartment and be available for after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis.

The role covers maintenance of the apartment community, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs, with safety standards strictly observed. EPA certification is required (within 120 days of start).

Qualifications

• HVAC experience preferred
• EPA certification required within 120 days of start
• CPO certification and pool maintenance skills preferred
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies on rotating basis
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall maintenance of the apartment community
• Evaluate and resolve work orders to high quality standards
• Perform plumbing tasks and pipe fittings
• Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and appliance issues
• Repair carpentry, doors, drywall, and caulking
• Monitor inventory of commonly used parts
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies
