Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Kirkland, WA. The role covers a wide range of property maintenance tasks to uphold high standards of safety, curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry, plus proactive preventative maintenance and on-call support. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with opportunities for mentoring and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Address electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance as directed by supervisor
• Perform carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement and door/lock repair
• Conduct preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler and elevator systems
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to resident satisfaction
• Inspect grounds and facilities for safety and cleanliness, identifying needed repairs
• Assist with property emergencies (e.g., snow removal, weather-related incidents)
• Communicate maintenance issues to leadership promptly
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations
• Participate in after-hours on-call maintenance as needed
• Foster positive, professional relations with residents and teams
