Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Seattle is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance tasks, ensuring high standards of customer service and curb appeal. The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and preventative tasks across assigned properties.

You will maintain work orders, inspect grounds for safety, support emergencies, and uphold safety policies while collaborating with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by supervisor or property manager.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain the work order system and ensure orders are completed to company standards and tenant satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness, identifying repair needs.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and communication with leadership.
