Job summary

Asset Living in Cullowhee, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance across our communities. You will perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision.

This on-site role requires reliable transportation, ability to lift 100+ lbs, and readiness for on-call emergencies. We offer total rewards including medical, dental, vision, life and 401K with matching, along with paid sick days and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Ensure all repairs and replacements necessary for community common areas and units.
• Assist with the scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Assist in the daily clean up of the exterior of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate, timely chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program that extends the life of the community.
• Maintain well-organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory and safety programs.
