Job summary
Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician I to join our multi-family community in San Diego, CA. The role involves performing general and preventative maintenance, operating building systems, and delivering high-quality service to residents in line with LMH standards.
You'll work with electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting and other trades, with safety as a priority.
Qualifications
- One or more years’ related maintenance experience preferred.
- Beginning level understanding or experience in two or more basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, appliance repair.
- Working knowledge of appliances.
- Competent skills with basic hand and electrical tools.
- Effective communication with coworkers, managers, vendors or residents.
- Basic computer skills; able to use mobile devices.
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel to regional locations.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work in varying environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on building systems and appliances.
- Replace filters, screens, lamps; paint walls and trim; test appliances.
- Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting and related systems as needed.
- Update and close service requests in Yardi Mobile.
- Follow OSHA safety rules and LMH SOPs.
