Job summary

RPM Living in Spring, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and keep the community clean, safe, and well-maintained on both interior and exterior spaces.

You will execute custodial duties, grounds work, basic repairs, pool care basics, and support make-ready units while adhering to OSHA and safety policies; you’ll respond to on-call requests and ensure tasks are completed within 24–48 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience preferred.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including maintenance, basic carpentry, and make-ready.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties around the property and maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal).
• Complete grounds work as directed (trash removal, power washing, debris removal).
• Thoroughly clean breezeways (mop floors, power wash, wipe doors/handrails).
• Assist in make-ready units (remove trash from vacant apartments).
• Operate maintenance equipment safely (power washer, floor scrubbers, etc.).
• Assist in pool maintenance and basic pool care tasks.
