Job summary

RPM Living in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and keep the interior and exterior common areas of the property clean and well-maintained. You will execute custodial tasks, grounds work, basic make-readies, and operate equipment like power washers and floor scrubbers, while responding to on-call emergencies and completing tasks within 24–48 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-readies.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties around the property and maintain common areas.
• Complete grounds work including power washing and debris removal.
• Thoroughly clean breezeways and perform landscaping tasks.
• Assist in make-readies and prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Operate equipment such as power washers, floor scrubbers, and sweepers.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and after-hours maintenance requests.
• Complete work orders within 24–48 hours and document progress.
• Perform repairs to maintain aesthetics and structural integrity while complying with safety policies.
