Job summary

Core Spaces in West Lafayette, Indiana, seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform on='$site' maintenance and groundskeeping duties across residential units and common areas. You will handle routine work orders, repairs, and safety tasks to ensure reliable, comfortable living spaces for residents.

The role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience, solid knowledge of MEP systems, and basic hand‑tools proficiency; certification as a Pool Operator is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance methods and processes.
• Manual dexterity and problem‑solving skills.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or able to attain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for residential units and common areas as needed.
• Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use.
• Knowledge of painting and drywall repair.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance programs to the building as required.
• Identify and repair potential safety hazards.
• Adhere to the company safety policies and safety measures.
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
• HVAC: diagnose and repair HVAC systems.
• Appliances: diagnose and repair appliances.
