Job summary

Core Spaces is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Isla Vista, CA to handle daily maintenance and groundskeeping alongside a maintenance supervisor. You will complete work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety across residential units and common areas.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, drywall, and general MEP knowledge. A High School diploma or GED is required, and a CPO certification is preferred or obtainable within 3

Qualifications

3+ years of maintenance experience.
Basic understanding of MEP systems.
High school diploma or GED.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or able to obtain within the first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders for residential units and common areas.
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use.
Knowledge of painting and drywall repair.
Adhere to preventive maintenance programs and safety policies.
Identify and repair potential safety hazards.
HVAC: diagnose and repair HVAC systems.
Appliances: diagnose and repair appliances.
