Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking a Service Technician I in Westfield, Indiana, responsible for supporting daily maintenance operations for apartment communities.

This role includes tasks such as performing repairs, inspections, and ensuring resident satisfaction while adhering to company standards. Ideal candidates should have relevant technical training, HVAC knowledge, and strong communication skills. The position also offers generous PTO and a robust wellness program.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training and/or equivalent job experience in heating and air conditioning preferred.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience in residential property maintenance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support daily maintenance operations to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Inspect buildings and common areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinate and complete tasks in line with departmental priorities.
