Job summary

Kittle Property Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site maintenance, housekeeping and customer service at our communities. You will inspect, repair, and prepare units for occupancy, manage grounds, and assist with preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of maintenance experience, and HVAC/EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification (EPA) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions and simple correspondence.
• Basic math for estimating quantities and measurements.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook/Word) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and perform maintenance tasks at properties to stay below budget where applicable.
• Inspect community grounds each morning.
• Turn units (paint, clean, maintain vacant units) and prepare for occupancy.
• Complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Maintain records of maintenance performed and tools/equipment used.
• Provide emergency resident support after office hours.
• Supervise contractors at the site as needed.
• Report and address maintenance issues to ensure safety and quality.
