Job summary

Core Spaces is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site maintenance and groundskeeping tasks, handle work orders, and support preventative maintenance. The role requires diagnosing HVAC and appliance issues, repairing plumbing, painting, and ensuring safety compliance.

You will work a full on-site schedule, potentially on-call, with opportunities to use your experience in a dynamic student housing environment. A high school education and 3+ years' maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance methods and processes.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or able to attain within the first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for residential units and common areas as needed.
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use.
• Knowledge of painting and drywall repair.
• Adhering to preventive maintenance programs to the building as required.
• Identify and repair potential safety hazards.
• Adhere to the company safety policies and safety measures.
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
• HVAC: Diagnose and perform repairs on HVAC systems.
• Appliances: Diagnose and repair appliances.
