Job summary

BR Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repair HVAC systems, and handle plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks at our Indiana properties. You will provide timely service and help keep apartments ready for occupancy.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance, EPA certification, own basic tools, and a valid driver's license. On-call rotation and compliance with housing laws are part of the job. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• Technical school, Highschool Diploma, or G.E.D. preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in maintenance or equivalent field.
• EPA certification is required.
• Own basic tools to perform building maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be willing to work on an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance activities and update records.
• Provide excellent customer service in fixing maintenance requests with timely resolution.
• Complete maintenance work orders involving drywall, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to emergency requests.
• Complete work orders within timeframe and prepare apartments within five business days of vacancy.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws including Fair Housing.
