Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Hayward, CA to oversee all maintenance operations, staff, and vendors. You will manage service requests, preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and resident relations to keep the community running smoothly.

The role requires EPA/CPO, HVAC preferred, and strong knowledge of OSHA and Fair Housing laws. On-site work with occasional on-call duties is required, with a focus on budget-conscious management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC certification desired.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance management and on-site supervision of maintenance staff.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident requests and work orders.
• Ensure repairs and replacements in common areas and units.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily for hazardous conditions.
• Manage maintenance supplies within budget guidelines.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend life of community.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA guidelines are followed.
• Participate in on-call emergency at community.
