Job summary

Asset Living in Cary, NC is seeking a Porter to assist in maintenance operations across the community. The role covers routine, preventative, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Regular onsite attendance and customer relations with residents are essential. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community MaintenanceRegular/daily onsite attendance is requiredResponsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areasRespond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely mannerEnsure all repairs and replacements necessary for community common areas and unitsResponsible for daily clean up of the exterior of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areasPerform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate, timely chemical logsInspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify, minimize, and correct hazardous property conditions or liability concerns.Maintain a preventative maintenance program that extends the life of the community while minimizing future repairs.Responsible for understanding and following Asset key policyMaintain a well-organized and adequately stocked maintenan
