Job summary

Asset Living in Raleigh is seeking a Porter to assist in maintaining a healthy, safe, and attractive property. You will perform corrective, preventative, routine and cosmetic maintenance under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

You will handle daily on-site tasks, manage the maintenance shop, respond to resident requests, and participate in on-call emergencies while upholding safety standards and good customer relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine and cosmetic maintenance.
• Perform on-site maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Conduct daily inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a well-organized, stocked maintenance shop and handle on-call emergencies.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain resident relations while upholding community policies.
