Job summary

Asset Living in Washington is seeking a Porter to assist in carrying out maintenance processes across the property, including corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic tasks under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

You will perform on-site maintenance of grounds, buildings, and common areas, respond to resident requests, complete work orders promptly, and participate in on-call emergencies to support a safe, well-kept community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain common areas, grounds, buildings, breezeways, and all interior/exterior community spaces.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Ensure repairs and replacements are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining a preventive maintenance program and safety practices.
