Job summary

Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for its Workplace team to manage shipping, receiving, and mailroom operations. You will coordinate packages, verify details, track shipments, and work with carriers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate records.

Qualifications

Experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, mailroom operations, workplace services, facilities, hospitality operations, or a related environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to verify addresses, recipient information, labels, tracking numbers, and delivery records.
Experience following established procedures and escalating exceptions or issues as needed.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple requests.
Clear written and verbal communication with a service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Coordinate incoming and outgoing packages and shipments with the Shipping & Receiving Lead.
Prepare outgoing packages for shipment and ensure proper labeling for carrier pickup.
Assist with scheduling carrier pickups and maintain accurate shipping and tracking information.
Inspect incoming packages for address accuracy, recipient info, and signs of damage.
Identify and refuse packages delivered to the wrong company or address per procedures.
Document damaged or questionable shipments and notify relevant leads.
