Job summary

Visit.org is seeking a Logistics Associate to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control on-site at our Northvale, New Jersey office. You will coordinate with carriers and internal teams, assemble kits, track shipments, and help maintain accurate logistics records in a fast-paced startup environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in logistics, strong organizational skills, and comfort with ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

1–3 years of logistics, supply chain or related field.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software (ERP, WMS).
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving.
Eager to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Physical ability to lift up to 49 pounds.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day logistics operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Assemble and pack kits and materials for shipment.
Track shipments and update internal systems with delivery status.
Communicate with carriers, vendors, and suppliers to resolve delays.
Prepare shipping documents (bills of lading, invoices, customs forms).
Assist with warehouse coordination and inventory audits.
Maintain records of logistics transactions.
Collaborate with Procurement, Customer Service, Sales to meet timelines.
Identify and implement improvements to logistics processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
