Job summary

Forward Air Corp. is seeking an Operations Administrator to support administrative functions in a fast-paced multimodal logistics site. You will greet visitors, coordinate with drivers and carriers, and assist with data entry and shipment documentation to ensure efficient operations.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and dependable service to maintain accurate records and timely logistics processes on-site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in administrative or logistics helpful but not required; training provided.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficient with common office technologies and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception support by greeting visitors, drivers, and carriers, and routing them appropriately.
• Deliver prompt, professional responses to inquiries from internal teams, customers, drivers, carriers, and partners.
• Assist with shipment status updates and basic documentation questions to ensure smooth freight flow.
• Perform accurate data entry related to shipments, appointments, records, and logs in logistics systems.
• Assist with shipment documentation, including reviewing paperwork for completeness and accuracy, and support updates and discrepancies.
