Job summary

Villas on the Strand in Galveston, TX is seeking a Property Management Associate to assist with leasing and administrative duties. You will prepare move-in packets, take applications, greet and show apartments, and work to ensure resident satisfaction and renewals.

The role requires strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and sales orientation, with MS Office proficiency and a valid driver’s license. Prior Yardi experience is a plus; energy and people skills are valued.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Property management experience preferred but not required.
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, sales-driven, and people-oriented.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience highly desired.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with leasing and administrative duties.
• Prepare move-in files, take applications, greet, qualify, and show apartments to prospective residents.
• Provide resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and strive for renewals.
• Process applications and input information into Yardi.
• Process annual recertifications and lease renewals.
• Conduct resident orientation and supervise maintenance work orders.
• All other duties as assigned.
