Job summary

Crossover is hiring a Learning Coach for Alpha campuses in the United States. This full-time, on-site role focuses on guiding K-3 students through app-based literacy, diagnosing gaps, and delivering short, structured sessions with small groups.

You will stay with your students from morning launch to closing, using data to name gaps and track progress. The position offers relocation support and a competitive compensation around $120,000 USD per year, with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working directly with children ages 4-9: teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, or similar settings.
• 2+ years of that experience teaching reading in grades K-3, within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training: LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS, Really Great Reading, or a master's in reading or literacy.
• Bachelor's degree in any subject; teaching certificate not required.

Responsibilities

• Get every K-3 student to daily learning goals and close reading gaps.
• Lead short structured-literacy sessions with 2–4 students, diagnose gaps from running records and fluency probes.
• Guide morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities.
• Drive students toward weekly app goals with school currency and leaderboards.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing with a proactive plan.
