Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Student Success Coach to guide K-3 students through app-based core learning, spot gaps, and lead targeted short sequences to unblock progress.

You will stay with your students from launch to closing, run structured literacy activities, diagnose decoding gaps, and name the exact steps to improve, sharing weekly data with families. This is a full-time, on-site role across Alpha campuses in the US, with relocation support.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching or tutoring roles.
• At least 2 years coaching students on reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master's in reading or literacy; or related certification.
• Bachelor's degree required; teaching certificate not required.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning and diagnosing gaps.
• Running short structured-literacy sessions with small groups and guiding transfer of gains.
• Leading morning launches, workshops, and check-chart activities for six-year-olds.
• Driving weekly app goals with data, leaderboards, and campus routines.
• Staying with students from launch to closing and addressing frustration with proactive plans.
