Job summary

ARUP Laboratories is seeking a Client Site Liaison II to work on-site at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS. The role focuses on processing specimens, coordinating with ARUP teams, and resolving client questions at the point of service.

The position requires a high school diploma with laboratory experience; preferred are degrees in biological sciences and related fields, and competence with ARUP Connect and LIS systems. It is a full-time, on-site role with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; one year of lab-related experience.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's in Biological Sciences or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field preferred.
• Type 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Pour off, label and process ARUP specimens as they become available.
• Prepare ARUP specimens for transport to ARUP per DOT and IATA guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain contact with local and regional couriers to ensure shipment schedules.
• Receive and initiate calls between the client site and ARUP.
• Provide information to clients regarding specimen requirements and turnaround times.
• Keep clients informed about ARUP value-added services such as ATOP, Connect and Consult.
