Job summary

ARUP Laboratories is seeking a Client Site Liaison II for Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, TX.

This on-site, full-time role involves acting as the liaison between the client site and ARUP’s divisions, processing specimens, and ensuring compliant packaging and transport. The position requires a High School Diploma (Associates or Bachelor's in Biological Sciences preferred) and experience in specimen processing, phlebotomy, or lab settings.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associates Degree or better in Biological Sciences or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or better in Biological Sciences or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or related with one year of experience in specimen processing, phlebotomy or lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Pour off, label and process ARUP specimens per ARUP test directory.
• Prepare ARUP specimens for transport in accordance with DOT and IATA guidelines.
• Maintain familiarity with CAP, NY and other regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Maintain contact with local and regional couriers to ensure shipment schedules are met.
• Read, understand and comply with SOPs related to the position.
