Job summary

ARUP Laboratories seeks a Client Site Liaison II at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, TX. The role supports on-site processing, specimen maneuvers and client liaison activities, ensuring proper handling and timely information exchange with ARUP teams.

The position requires lab experience, phlebotomy exposure, and familiarity with ARUP Connect and LIS systems, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hrs/week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in specimen processing, phlebotomy or lab setting.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Typing 30 words per minute or more.

Responsibilities

• Pour off, label and process ARUP specimens per ARUP test directory.
• Prepare specimens for transport following DOT and IATA guidelines.
• Maintain records and communicate with client site and ARUP teams.
• Resolve issues related to specimen submissions before shipping.
• Keep clients informed about ARUP services and updates.
• Ensure packing, shipping and regulatory compliance for shipments.
