Job summary

ARUP Laboratories seeks a Client Site Liaison II to work on-site at the Austin client site. You will coordinate specimen processing, labeling, and transport while resolving submission issues and maintaining client relationships.

The role requires handling ARUP tests in accordance with DOT/IATA guidelines and using ARUP Connect and LIS tools. The position supports ARUP’s client relations and technical teams, with a schedule Tues–Sat, 40 hours per week, on-site in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or related with one (1) year of experience in specimen processing, phlebotomy or lab experience in a laboratory setting
• Or Associate's degree and two (2) years of specimen processing, phlebotomy or lab assistant experience in a laboratory setting
• Or one (1) year of specimen processing at ARUP labs

Responsibilities

• Pour off, label and process ARUP specimens as they become available in accordance with the specimen handling section of the ARUP test directory
• Prepare ARUP specimens for transport to ARUP in accordance with DOT and IATA guidelines
• Maintain contact with client site and ARUP to resolve issues related to test or specimen submissions
• Receive and initiate calls between the client site and ARUP
• Assist in distributing technical information and updates to the client
