Job summary

Savills North America is seeking a Laboratory Project Coordinator to provide onsite support for laboratory relocations and building activations at client facilities in Tarrytown, NY. The role requires coordinating with the client’s project team, vendors, and field staff to ensure smooth relocations and adherence to standards.

Ideal candidates will have strong scientific literacy, the ability to read construction plans, and adeptness at data collection and Excel-based tracking.

Qualifications

• Scientific literacy and experience in large-scale laboratory settings is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and elevations, including electrical and plumbing systems.
• Skilled long-term planning and in-field problem solving.
• Effective and sensitive client communication.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of project information for input to the team.
• Can triage issues in the field by time, impact, and needs.
• Commitment to 100% data collection accuracy during equipment audits.
• Must be able to be on feet for extended periods during audits and relocations.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel; Adobe InDesign is a plus.
• Provide direct support to the Project Director as required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client project team and departmental representatives.
• Provide support for vendor quotes, onboarding, purchase order tracking, invoicing and closeouts.
• Ensure adherence to client’s standards and Hoffman methodologies.
• Provide field support before, during and after relocations.
• In-the-field problem solving skills to address emergent issues.
