Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a full-time, on-site Lead Elementary Teacher position in the Seattle area. You will guide K-3 students through app-based core learning, diagnose reading gaps, and implement targeted literacy sequences to close those gaps on a daily basis.

You will lead structured literacy sessions for small groups, participate in morning launches and campus routines, and track weekly app goals with data-driven coaching. Relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching reading to elementary students (K-3).
• Structured-literacy training completed.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• Willing to relocate or work on-site at a campus.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning; spotting gaps and unblocking with targeted questions.
• Running targeted structured-literacy sessions with small groups; diagnosing gaps and applying designed sequences.
• Leading morning launches, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities for six-year-olds.
• Guiding students toward weekly app goals with school currency and gamification.
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, closing, and reading interventions.
