Job summary

Alpha is seeking an Early Elementary Teacher (Guides) to support K-3 reading growth at on-site campuses. You will lead app-based core learning and targeted reading sessions for groups of 2–4 students, driving progress with data and structured routines.

Join a fast-moving education team focused on closing reading gaps and coaching students through daily literacy activities, with relocation support and on-site work required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years directly with children ages 4-9: teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning; spotting who is stuck and guiding them to the gap.
• Running targeted structured-literacy sessions with 2–4 students; diagnosing a phonics gap and teaching a designed sequence.
• Leading morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities for six-year-olds.
• Driving students to weekly app goals with school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, closing, and reading interventions to plan for each child.

Education

Bachelor's degree (any subject)

Structured-literacy training or master's in reading or literacy
