Alpha is hiring a Lower School Guide for full-time, on-site work at a campus. You will guide K–3 students through app-based core learning, conduct targeted reading sessions, and track progress with regular data review.

You will stay with the same students throughout the day, manage lunch and recess, and work to close reading gaps with individualized sequences. Relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years direct work with children ages 4–9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or similar settings.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching reading in grades K–3 within the last 5 years.
• Structured-literacy training (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS) or a master’s in reading/literacy.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Get every K-3 student to daily learning goals and close reading gaps.
• Lead targeted structured-literacy sessions with small groups and diagnose gaps using running records and fluency probes.
• Guide students through app-based learning and campus routines from launch to closing.
