Job summary

Alpha seeks dedicated guides to coach K-3 students through app-based core learning on campus nationwide. You will diagnose gaps, run short literacy sessions for two to four students, and maintain daily goals within a structured routine.

This full-time, on-site role requires relocation to a listed campus. Training in LETRS/IMSE/Orton-Gillingham is valued; you’ll work 90% guiding students and 10% reading sessions, with opportunities in education leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9.
• At least 2 years of that experience teaching reading in grades K-3 (last 5 years).
• Completed structured-literacy training: LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS, or similar; or a master's in reading or literacy.
• Bachelor's degree in any subject; a teaching certificate is not required.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation support provided; willing to work on-site at listed campuses.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning: spotting gaps and guiding progress.
• Running short literacy sessions with two to four students and diagnosing decoding gaps.
• Leading morning launch, life-skills workshops, and daily check-chart activities.
• Driving students to weekly app goals using school currency and gamification.
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, and closing with a concrete plan.
