Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our on-site team in Torrington, CT. You will provide Tier 1-2 support, troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, and mobile devices, and assist with deployments while delivering strong customer service to about 100 end users.

You will work in a hands-on, collaborative environment with opportunities to grow into systems administration, infrastructure, and project work over time, as the organization continues to expand its IT capabilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Help Desk or IT Support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Desire to learn, grow, and take on additional technical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, networking, and mobile device issues.
• Support Windows desktops, laptops, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets.
• Configure and deploy new computers and equipment.
• Document issues and resolutions through the help desk system.
• Assist with IT projects, upgrades, deployments, and process improvements.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to employees across the organization.
