Job summary

Van Cleef Engineering Associates, LLC is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician II to deliver hands-on, on-site IT support across multiple offices in NJ/PA. You will manage Windows 11, Microsoft 365 apps, device imaging, Entra ID provisioning, Intune enrollment, and basic networking while coordinating with our MSP and HR for onboarding and offboarding.

You will join a collaborative IT team, provide after-hours support on a rotating basis, maintain hardware inventory, and assist with office relocation

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in IT.
• 2–3 years of IT support or help desk experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps, Windows OS, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with imaging laptops, user provisioning (AD/Entra ID), and asset inventory.
• Familiarity with a professional ticketing system (Autotask, Jira, or similar).
• Basic networking knowledge (Wi‑Fi, DHCP/DNS, VPN).
• Strong customer service and multi‑location coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve onsite IT tickets: hardware setup, printers/peripherals, basic cabling, desktop troubleshoot.
• Coordinate with MSP on open/escalated tickets; keep clear notes and status updates.
• Onboarding/offboarding: laptop imaging, Entra ID provisioning, Intune enrollment, license assignment; coordinate with HR.
• Provide first-line troubleshooting for Windows 11, Microsoft 365 apps, network, printers, and VoIP.
• Assist with day-to-day office networking equipment under senior staff guidance.
• Track and manage IT inventory across all office locations.
• Participate in vendor calls and help coordinate invoices with Accounts Payable.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery: setting up/relocating equipment at all locations.
• Support onsite IT projects, equipment installs, and office relocations.
• Occasional after-hours or weekend support on rotation.
