Job summary

Valeo Networks Inc. is seeking a motivated on-site IT support specialist to join our technical team in the Cincinnati area. You will handle server and firewall installations, troubleshoot Windows issues, and resolve client tickets while providing excellent service.

Documentation and a strong customer-focused attitude are essential for success. The role requires 3-5 years in tech support, willingness to learn, and the ability to work directly with clients on-site.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in the technical support field or IT industry.
• Willing to learn and grow with the team.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with server troubleshooting is a plus.
• Experience with firewalls and network devices is desirable.
• Ability to handle printer issues (local and network).
• Knowledge of internet connectivity, FTP transfers, and webmail.
• Experience with remote access, VPNs, and logon scripts.
• Prior ConnectWise or Kaseya experience is a plus.
• Must live in or near Cincinnati, Ohio to support on-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve IT infrastructure, servers, and networks on-site.
• Resolve customer issues and prioritize tickets with attention to detail.
• Install servers and firewalls, document steps and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot end-user tickets and escalate when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional client interactions.
