Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an On-Site Support Technician for a 4-6 week contract based in Mount Crawford, VA. The role requires hands-on desktop support, hardware/software installs, and problem resolution within SLAs.

Candidates should be familiar with Windows environments, Office, SAP, and security tools. This fully onsite position offers a comprehensive benefits package for a temporary assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including installations and updates.
• Hands-on desktop support including software/hardware upgrades.
• Experience with Active Directory and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Resolve end-user help requests within established SLAs.
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level (software/hardware) and install/upgrade as needed.
• Install antivirus software and keep virus definitions up to date.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on servers and client devices (laptops/desktops/mobile).
• Troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and maintain hardware/software configurations.
