Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking an IT Support professional for an onsite contract role. The Support Technician will provide onsite and remote hardware/software support for client computers, servers, notebooks, and related technologies, on site with free parking and a business casual dress code.

This six-month contract may lead to permanent employment. You will monitor tickets, configure and maintain servers, assist with OS patches, and ensure SLA-aligned support while adhering to IT

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years hands-on technical support experience.
• Experience with Active Directory and Zebra printers.
• Strong proficiency with Office 365 and Windows 11.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network configurations.
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing PC, notebook, and peripheral hardware.
• Experience with backup software, remote desktop tools, and endpoint management.
• Basic scripting with PowerShell preferred.
• Familiarity with Revit, Aptean Made2Manage, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ticket flow and resolve or escalate urgent tickets.
• Set up, configure, administer, and support server hardware/software and client devices.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support for resolving hardware/software issues per SLAs.
• Monitor and configure servers; ensure backups are effective.
• Plan and coordinate OS updates and script maintenance.
• Document changes and keep the ticketing system updated.
• Ensure IT standards and security protocols are followed.
• Provide second-level support for complex issues.
• Adhere to SLAs and complete tasks on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
