Job summary

Essity is seeking an IT On-Site Support Technician to provide frontline IT support at our Barton location. You will install and replace end-user equipment, support local servers and networks, and manage customer tickets with adherence to Service Management procedures.

You will educate users on IT tools, assist with project and vendor management, and help improve IT services while ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Travel to local sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Two to five years desktop IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• ITIL knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasional after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace end-user IT equipment (PCs, smartphones, printers, collaboration tools).
• Support local servers and networks with global IT teams.
• Process and own tickets from customers.
• Administer IT assets (hardware and software).
• Educate users on IT workplace and collaboration tools.
• Manage projects and vendor relationships.
• Contribute to service improvements and knowledge base.
• Support local applications per global policies.
• Follow audit requirements.
