Essity AB is seeking an IT On-Site Support Technician to provide basic IT support at our Barton location. This role serves as the primary contact for troubleshooting network, software, and equipment issues, and collaborates with global IT teams.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of desktop IT experience, solid Windows and Office knowledge, and strong customer service skills. Some travel and after-hours support may be required.”

Qualifications

• 2-5 years desktop experience in Information Technology.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.
• ITIL knowledge or certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace end user IT equipment (PCs, phones, printers).
• Support local servers and networks in coordination with global IT teams.
• Manage and own tickets from customers.
• Administer IT assets (hardware and software).
• Educate users on IT workplace tools and collaboration apps.
• Support projects and vendor management activities.
• Contribute to IT service improvements and knowledge bases.
• Assist with local application support per global policies.
• Comply with internal and external audit requirements.
