Job summary

KPM Multifamily is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to keep Houston-area teams productive. Travel between properties is required; the role is on-site with flexible scheduling, offered as part-time or contract. You will address desktops, phones, and network issues and report to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will diagnose problems independently, communicate clearly to non-technical staff, and enjoy a practical, people-facing IT role within a property management setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting phones, computers, and network connectivity.
• Proficient with Windows and common office software.
• Ability to diagnose problems and explain fixes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Support office phone systems, including VoIP, extensions, voicemail, and routing.
• Troubleshoot internet and network issues, including routers, switches, and Wi‑Fi.
• Create and manage user accounts, email, and access permissions.
• Install software updates and assist with basic security housekeeping.
• Provide friendly help desk support by phone, email, and in person.
• Track equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors/ISPs.
• Document recurring issues and fixes for the team.
