Job summary

ConocoPhillips Houston is seeking a Site Support professional for a contract role to resolve desktop hardware and software issues onsite. You will configure and repair desktop, mobile, and printing devices and ensure integration with network resources and productivity apps.

You will communicate with customers via phone, email, and remote diagnostics, work independently, and participate in test and project implementations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct experience troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• 5+ years in IT or telecommunications support roles.
• 5+ years of experience installing and supporting meeting room audio-visual technologies.
• 5+ years of experience installing and supporting personal printers, MFDs, and plotters.
• Direct experience supporting and troubleshooting Office 365 and OneDrive for Business.

Responsibilities

• Configure, troubleshoot, isolate, repair, and resolve desktop hardware and software issues, including desktop/laptop hardware, mobile devices, printers, scanners, peripherals, and other desktop-related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair desktop computers to ensure seamless interconnection with multiple systems including network drives and business productivity applications.
• Communicate with customers directly via phone, e-mail, and remote diagnostics to identify, reproduce, and resolve reported issues.
• Work independently to troubleshoot all support requests and follow escalation policies.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and implementation of assigned projects.
• Manage hardware inventory per division policies and handle cabling between workstations and communication closets as required.
