Job summary

IT Voice is seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician to resolve technical issues, install and configure hardware and software, and ensure smooth IT operations on-site in Houston, TX. This role involves desk-side support, on-site engagement, and collaboration with the IT Voice team to escalate complex problems.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, US work eligibility, basic PC experience, and 1–2 years of support experience with a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalency required.
• Approved to work in the US with a valid driver’s license.
• Basic PC and peripheral experience required.
• Familiarity with MS365 is favorable.
• 1-2 years of support experience and willingness to learn are favorable.
• Dependable transportation to the customer site is required.
• Must be located in the Houston, TX area due to the onsite engagement.
• The ability to get stuff done (there’s no room on our ship for slackers)
• Passion for Technology
• Heart to always do the right thing and admit mistakes
• Good communication skills (willing to give and receive constructive feedback)

Responsibilities

• Provide desk-side support for hardware and software issues, including PCs and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT systems and applications.
• Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and networks on-site.
• Collaborate with the IT Voice technical support team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations.
