Job summary

Kraft Kennedy's Support Practice Group is seeking a full-time Desktop Support Specialist on site in the Chicago area. The role reports to a Team Leader and collaborates with a diverse technical staff to resolve client issues, perform on-site visits, and support Windows Server and Exchange environments.

The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm CT. The base pay ranges from $55,000 to $65,000, with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT or 3+ years related experience.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Organized, detail oriented with good follow-up.
Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Windows Server and Exchange preferred.
Experience with server/network administration, software deployment and MS Office.
Some experience with Windows desktops and virtualization/storage.

Responsibilities

Provide support to nationwide clients via remote connections and on-site visits.
Assist end users and IT staff with a broad range of issues.
Escalate issues and work with vendors and teammates for resolution.
Perform Root Cause Analysis on complex client issues.
Contribute to internal projects to grow the Support Practice Group.
Provide regional on-site client support as needed.
