Job summary

ERGO S Technology Partners SAL Offshore seeks an entry‑level IT Support Engineer in Houston to be the dedicated on‑site resource for a global oil and gas trading client. You will handle service desk tasks and hands‑on desktop support, logging incidents, resolving basic issues, and coordinating with global teams.

Responsibilities include configuring Windows laptops and peripherals, user onboarding, and supporting meeting rooms and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
0 to 2 years of experience in service desk, helpdesk, desktop support or another customer‑facing technical role; internships acceptable.
Entry‑level certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, ITIL 4 Foundation or Cisco Certified Support Technician are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Answer support calls, Teams messages, emails and walk‑up requests professionally and within service levels.
Log, classify, priority, update and close incidents and requests with complete resolution notes.
Resolve first‑line issues including passwords, MFA enrolment, Outlook/Teams/OneDrive, printing and basic network connectivity.
Provide remote support and coordinate with global infrastructure, cybersecurity and application teams.
Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows devices; prepare devices with approved builds and verify security controls.
