Job summary

RNGD is seeking an IT Support Specialist in Metairie, LA to provide Tier 1 and 2 support across office, field, and subsidiary operations. You will manage Windows devices, Microsoft 365 services, and basic networking, while ensuring accurate documentation and secure access.

The role emphasizes onboarding/offboarding tasks, identity management, endpoint deployment, and ongoing knowledge documentation. A strong service mindset and collaboration across locations are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred; hands-on experience may be considered.
• Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support in a Windows-based environment, including Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management, remote support, mobile devices, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ticketing systems, IT service-management practices, documentation standards, cybersecurity fundamentals, and access administration.
• Strong service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and with teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, PowerShell, automation, or construction technology is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Windows devices, Microsoft 365 services, printers, basic networking, and conference-room tech.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, device prep, account access, and equipment recovery.
• Assist with user accounts, password resets, MFA enrollment, group membership, and licensing changes.
• Support device enrollment, configuration, deployment, compliance, remote support, and endpoint-management activities.
• Maintain accurate hardware, software, and asset records; assist with inventory reviews.
• Occasionally visit offices, jobsites, and subsidiaries for setup, troubleshooting, and assistance.
• Follow security procedures; escalate suspicious activity and ensure least-privilege access.
• Create clear ticket notes, knowledge-base articles, and user guides; contribute to documentation.
• Identify recurring issues and assist with process improvements; participate in testing new systems.
