Job summary

RNGD in Metairie, LA is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide Tier 1–2 technical help across office, field, and subsidiary operations. You will ensure timely issue resolution, document actions, and maintain a secure, employee‑friendly tech environment.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you’ll support Windows devices, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Mentra ID, endpoint management, and onboarding/offboarding workflows, with a strong emphasis on service and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
• Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support in a Windows-based business environment, including Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management, remote support, mobile devices, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, IT service-management practices, documentation standards, cybersecurity fundamentals, and access-administration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Windows devices, Microsoft 365 services, printers, basic networking, conference-room technology, mobile devices, and business software.
• Respond to employee requests through approved channels and the ticketing system with timely updates and clear next steps.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, document actions, and escalate when needed.
• Own assigned support requests through resolution and escalate to appropriate internal or external resources.
• Maintain clear ticket notes, knowledge-base articles, and user guides.
