NRI Resource Management Services (RMS) is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver advanced end-user support. The role emphasizes problem-solving skills, OS and network troubleshooting, and active participation in system upgrades and device refreshes.

You will work with the Deskside Support team to install and maintain operating systems and enterprise applications, while providing user training and maintaining documentation. Occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in technical support, Level 2/3 preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows OS and common productivity applications.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN connectivity.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A, MCMD) are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced hardware, software, and networking support, escalating from Level 1 as needed.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot operating systems and business applications; run diagnostics and repairs.
• Update, configure, and maintain core Deskside Support systems.
• Lead OS and enterprise app installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Assist with setup and user training for new hardware/software.
• Document solutions and create knowledge base articles.
• Travel to client sites to provide on-site support.
