Job summary

Beacon Hill seeks an IT professional to support server conversion and infrastructure upgrade projects across enterprise locations in Ann Arbor, MI. The role covers server deployments, troubleshooting hardware/software, and ensuring technology rollouts with minimal business disruption.

Previous overnight work is highly preferred; the contract is budgeted through year-end and is in-person in Ann Arbor. Responsibilities include guiding users through deployments, resolving VPN/network issues, and

Qualifications

• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft technologies, or Intune.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Walk user through server conversions, upgrades, and deployments.
• Troubleshoot server, printer, network, VPN, and connectivity issues.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for hardware and software problems.
• Support user onboarding/offboarding and account administration.
• Document issues, resolutions, and project progress.
